Installation
mobiCut is planned to be released on Google Play in mid-November 2026. Until then there is no public download. Once it's out, you'll install it from the Play Store like any other app, and this page will link to it.
What you'll need
- A phone with Android 10 or newer.
- The download from Google Play is under 20 MB; you also need room for the videos you export.
Updating
Google Play updates mobiCut like any other app. Updates keep all your projects.
There's no need to uninstall mobiCut to update it. If you do uninstall, see Uninstalling for how to keep your projects.
To see which version you have, open ⚙ Settings on the start screen; the version is shown at the bottom (for example mobiCut 2026-11-05.1).
Uninstalling
Long-press the mobiCut icon → App info → Uninstall.
- To keep your projects, tick Keep app data in the uninstall dialog. When you install mobiCut again, the projects are back.
- Projects are also saved to your Google backup, so they come along to a new phone.
- After a reinstall or on a new phone, a project may say it can't find its video. Pick the same video again and all edits are kept.
Videos you exported stay in Movies/MobiCut either way.
